Though, this thermostat doesn’t come with additional bells and whistles due to its relatively cheap price (a unit going for $170), the device works better in a smaller room. You can also use Echo to remotely control the thermostat for large houses.
The only two downsides that I have come across this now that the sensors are a bit weaker as compared to ecobee and it requires additional sensors to work more efficiently. However, using additional sensors is a good to go for a home.
I have used Next Thermostat for a long time and I never had to go through any problems. However, I would recommend to go for ecobee but if your budget is not that much then you must have a Nest Thermostat.

Unlike the other Thermostats, the Honeywell T5 Smart thermostat does not come with the fancy large screen and displays. Despite this disadvantage, it still has different abilities like geofencing which is an out of the box concept.

I would recommend you to buy this thermostat only if your budget is very low and you need a thermostat that can get connected to whichever assistant you want.
